S.M.P. Rise offers paid apprenticeships on micro-productions: short films, music videos, stage productions, podcasts, and short-form documentaries to provide work experience within the entertainment industry. 

We are here for those whose lives have been affected by poverty, inequity, and lack of opportunity in our society who have the desire to work in the arts but need access and training to reach that goal.

S.M.P. Rise is here to bridge entry level workforce development programs and offer a ladder to the next level for: 

1. Those who have foundation skills /training,  tor have worked in entry-level (non-union) positions in feature films, commercials, and TV . 

2. If you currently need foundation training and/or more entry level work experience, SMP Rise will help you find your next step to RISE. 

Our participants pay ZERO dollars to continue their RISE in the industry.
