Neil Syal is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with over a decade of experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Finance at Robin, he brings a strong background in financial management, bookkeeping, and business development. 

Neil has also worked with The Life You Can Save as a Bookkeeper and previously held the role of Accounting Manager at Los Angeles Room & Board, where he managed financial operations and reporting.

His career spans both corporate and non-profit sectors, including experience as a Senior Associate in Business Development at Vaco, where he worked on strategic financial initiatives. 

Neil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from California State University, Fullerton, where he was actively involved in student organizations such as Sigma Phi Epsilon and the India International Club.

Beyond his expertise in finance, Neil is a Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) and has a passion for fitness, having served as a Spin Instructor at SweatCycle. He also holds a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Certification (MOS), underscoring his proficiency in financial software and data analysis.

Neil is deeply committed to giving back to the community, beyond SMP RISE,  having volunteered as a Camp Counselor for Camp Titan, mentoring underserved youth. 

His diverse skill set, leadership in finance, and dedication to personal and professional growth make him a valuable asset to SMP RISE.
